Even if my works are protected the minute a create them, I register some of them so that my rights are super protected
“Abstract Faces” has been shown in a solo exhibition that took place at Venice on 2018. Many original prints of this work were sold then. All of them were original and they displayed the right colors – that blue in the background that you see, is special and changes depending on the printer you use to reproduce it.
The importance of the right colors
“Abstract Faces” was born to be printed on a paper with a specific weight. It was created using the proper color mode for printing which is different from the one used to display colors on your screen, which means that printing an “Abstract Faces” image you find on the web won’t reproduce the exact colors used to print the original work, and will limit the power of the work and your experience with it.
Printed in Florence
There is just one place in Florence where that marvelous blue background is printed correctly. It might not be the best printshop in the city but it was the one that gave me the result I was looking for. And this is one of the reasons why the only way to get the original print with the right colors is buying it directly from me.
Buying an original work of art from the artist has an emotional value. It creates a personal interaction with the artist, with the artist’s emotions, and with the place where the work has been created.
If you want to make sure that you buy a good and authentic reproduction of the print please get in touch, I will be happy to visit my favorite printshop in Florence and print a copy for you.
Apart from buying the print directly from me, Saatchi Art is the only place on the web were authorized copies can be purchased.
There has been an overwhelming interest in this print, so registering it has been inevitable.
"Abstract Faces" by Raquel Yunta is protected and registered with the Italian copyright collecting agency.
